COSMOSAN®: Pitfall trap for monitoring Banana Weevil and other crawling insects

COSMOSAN® is a pitfall trap specifically designed for monitoring the Banana Weevil (Cosmopolites sordidus), a key pest in banana crops. This trap is also effective for capturing other crawling insects such as Agriotes spp. and slugs. COSMOSAN® features an internal basket that allows insect collection, as well as a compartment designed to hold attractants, ensuring efficient and safe capture.

Unlike other traps, COSMOSAN® does not include the attractant, making it more versatile and allowing it to be adapted to the user’s specific needs.
