PHEROSAN® Drosophila: Liquid Attractant for the Spotted Wing Drosophila (Drosophila suzukii)

PHEROSAN® Drosophila is a liquid attractant specially formulated for the monitoring and control of the Spotted Wing Drosophila (Drosophila suzukii), an invasive pest affecting a wide variety of crops such as raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums and table grapes, among others. This food attractant attracts both adult males and females, contributing to the effective capture of this pest during its adult stage.

Product characteristics:

Attractant: Food attractant, effective for adult males and females of Drosophila suzukii.

Presentation: Available in 10 L containers or 1.030 L drums for easy use over large areas.

Recommended trap: DROSOSAN® (mosquito net adapted for trapping these dipterans).

Mode of action:

The liquid is placed inside a DROSOSAN® trap to capture Spotted Wing Drosophila.

Adult flies are attracted by the liquid and remain trapped until they die.

For optimum performance, it is recommended to bait each trap with 250 ml of attractant and replace it every 15 days.
