MOSKISAN®: Trap for capturing the Mediterranean Fruit Fly

MOSKISAN® is an innovative trap specifically designed for capturing the Mediterranean Fruit Fly (Ceratitis capitata), one of the most destructive pests affecting citrus crops in the Mediterranean region. Developed in collaboration with researchers from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and tested by the Plant Health Departments of several Spanish provinces, MOSKISAN® guarantees superior efficiency in capturing this pest.

Its patented design optimises efficiency by allowing the use of the KILLDISC® insecticide, SANSAN’s alternative to traditional DDVP. In addition, MOSKISAN® must be baited with a specialised attractant (PHEROSAN Ceratitis Monitor) to maximise its effectiveness.
