PROCESAN® is a trap specifically designed for the efficient capture of Pine Processionary caterpillars (Thaumetopoea pityocampa), a pest of major phytosanitary importance throughout the Mediterranean region and Central Europe. Adapted to the biology and behaviour of this species, PROCESAN® interrupts the descent of the caterpillars to the ground, preventing them from reaching the adult stage and limiting their spread.

The trap is installed around the pine trunk and requires no attractants or insecticides, as it captures caterpillars using a dry trapping system while respecting the environment.
